Job Description
Telecommuting available
The initial training will take place in Canada (full address will be communicated to you) for approximately 2 or 3 weeks.
Candidate must be able to travel to this facility.
Working hours: Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wage of 20.35/hour
Customs clearance AND/OR confirmation of declarations for repetitive and non-complex shipments using the customer's profile in the system (creates or modifies the line code/classification)
Manage delivery service AND/OR import permit applications if required AND/OR collect and send appropriate documents to the government
Customer service
Main contributions/task:
Data entry (opening of customer files, validation of information, credit and invoicing)
Collect additional information or documents from customers, drivers, customs and other offices, etc., if necessary
Identify gaps in customer profiles
Respond to standard questions and requests from customers, drivers, customs and other offices
Work as a team with other actors: customers, employees, carriers, inbound agents
Qualifications required
High school diploma
Bilingualism not required - but desired
Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations and other government departments
Basic understanding of the HS system
